The Saylor-Beall VT-745 vertical two-stage air compressor is engineered for professional shops and industrial facilities that require serious airflow, dependable high-pressure performance, and true industrial-duty durability. Designed, machined, assembled, and tested in St. Johns, Michigan, the VT-745 combines Saylor-Beall’s rugged 707 cast-iron compressor pump with large-capacity vertical air receivers to deliver reliable compressed air performance for demanding daily operations.

Available with either an 80-gallon or 120-gallon vertical tank, the VT-745 gives customers the flexibility to match reserve air capacity to their application requirements. The larger 120-gallon configuration provides increased air storage, reduced compressor cycling, and more stable system pressure during periods of higher compressed air demand.

Powered by Saylor-Beall’s industrial-duty 707 splash lubricated two-stage pump, the VT-745 delivers an impressive 26.2 CFM at 175 PSI while operating at only 650 RPM. This lower-speed design helps minimize heat buildup, reduce internal wear, and extend compressor lifespan compared to many higher-speed competitive compressors.

The compressor pump features precision-honed cylinders, four piston rings for superior oil control and efficiency, oversized tapered roller bearings, replaceable insert bearings, and a heavy cast-iron crankcase engineered to reduce vibration and improve long-term reliability. A finned cast-iron intercooler improves cooling efficiency while the centrifugal unloader provides smooth no-load startup to reduce electrical stress and improve overall durability.
